My small workshop has taken over our tiny one car garage, but I don't think my wife Amy minds too much, considering she reaps many of the benefits of my work. Many of my projects are basic home needs - new front porch railings, household furniture, and repairs.

 Basic laundry sorters are available

Basic laundry sorters are available at Target or WalMart, and we had a set that kept falling apart. So I took the sorting bags from them and build my own wooden frames. A very basic project, but extremely useful and easy to use with casters on the bottom to move them around the laundry room.

New Porch Railings (July 2011)

When we bought our house, I knew we would need to rebuild the front porch railings - they were basically rotted and were getting dangerous for visitors to use the front porch. So while Amy was in Boston for a weekend with her Mom, I rebuilt the railings and repainted the front of the house.
